Privacy policy

What this site collects, the cookies it uses, and your choices.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy explains what Ashish Tagra (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit www.ashishtagra.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have kept it short and specific to what this website does.

What we collect

Messages you send us. When you use the contact form we receive what you type: your name, your email address and your message. We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of the enquiry. It is stored in our website's database and a copy is emailed to us.

Anonymous visit counts. Our website keeps its own simple counts: which page was opened, on which day, on what kind of device (phone or computer), roughly how long the page stayed open, which site referred the visit, and how fast the page loaded. These counts are not linked to you. They use no cookies, and we do not store your IP address with them.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser, and how visitors arrive. Google sets cookies to tell visitors apart. Google Analytics only starts if you press Accept on the cookie banner. Google processes this data on our behalf; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Push messages. If you choose to turn notifications on, your browser gives us a technical address for your device and two encryption keys, and we store them so we can send you a notification. We also note the kind of device (for example “Android”). We do not learn your name or email address from this. We use it only to send occasional updates.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser.

  • cc remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies, so we do not ask on every page. It lasts 6 months.
  • pp remembers your answer to the notifications question, so we do not ask again. It lasts up to 1 year.
  • _ga and _ga_* belong to Google Analytics and tell visitors apart to count visits. They are set only after you accept. They last up to 2 years.
  • session is set only for our own team when signing in to manage the site. It lasts 14 days.

You can change your answer at any time: use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. If you decline, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from this site.

Turning notifications off

You can stop notifications at any time in your browser: open the site settings for www.ashishtagra.com (usually the padlock or the icon next to the address) and set Notifications to Block. Once you do, we can no longer reach your device and the stored address is deleted the next time we send a message.

Who else is involved

We do not sell your information. A few companies process it for us so the site can work:

  • Cloudflare hosts this website and its database, and sees the technical details of every request (such as your IP address) in order to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
  • Resend delivers the email we receive when you send a message through the contact form.
  • Google provides Google Analytics, as described above.
  • Instagram (Meta). The Instagram posts shown on the site load their pictures from Instagram's servers, which see your IP address when they do.
  • Your browser's push service (run by Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft, depending on your browser) delivers notifications. The content is encrypted so that only your browser can read it.

Links on this site to other websites, including the App Store and Google Play, lead to services with their own policies.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form messages: until the enquiry is closed and we no longer need the record, or until you ask us to delete it.
  • Anonymous visit counts: kept as totals; they never identify you.
  • Google Analytics data: according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (14 months at most by default).
  • Notification addresses: until you turn notifications off.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw a consent you gave. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. To use any of these, write to us at [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If what the site does changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
